The Spring 2018 Homeowners Association General
Meeting of White Oak Estates was brought to order at 7:20 PM Tuesday
July 10, 2018 at the Pizza Factory in Colfax CA by President Mike
Nelson.
An updated Homeowners List was distributed and
verified. Introductions were made of all homeowners present to
acquaint new members of the association with those present.
The Minutes of the Spring 2017 General Meeting
were read and discussed. Art Huber will pursue further the
possibility of building a planter box near the mailboxes for the
planting of low-maintenance bulbs etc. A motion was presented,
seconded and passed that the Minutes of the Spring 2017 General
Meeting be accepted.
The Financial Report was presented by Mel Huber.
There is a current balance of $44,868.72 in the account. There are
currently two homeowners in the rear. The accountant will be asked to
send demand letters to both homeowners, to be followed by placement
of leans if necessary. A motion was presented, seconded and passed
that the Financial Report be accepted.
The Road Maintenance Committee Report was
presented by Art Huber. Art will obtain bids from Tritan, Hanson and
Simpson to Chip and Seal the two cross streets and the remainder of
White Oak from the Van Pelt curve to the top of the court. Georgann
Chiozza volunteered to call all association members when the work is
scheduled, providing members with the opportunity to request from the
contractor driveway work to be completed at the same time.
Due to the planned move of the Hammers, Election
of Secretary was held. The motion to elect Georgann Chiozza as
Secretary was made, seconded and passed. Al Stutrud will help
Georgann with the website.
During Open Forum the following were discussed:
* Thanks was given to Dick Merrill for trimming of
the tree line along the road.
* The car left at the mailboxes was tagged by the
Sheriff's office and has since been removed.
* Open shooting can occur on your own property,
but cannot cross property lines.
* The Zendners reminded all association members
that in the event of a fire or other emergency an alternate exit from
White Oak can be made across their lot (1666) past the basketball
pole and out to Pineview.
A motion was presented, seconded and passed to
close the meeting at 8:00 PM
